An expensive equipment purchase and the proposed demolition of three structures are among the issues that will be facing the Lamesa City Council when they meet Tuesday evening.
That meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
One of the items to be considered is the possible purchase of a new compactor for the city landfill.
Last month, Mayor Josh Stevens reported the city’s ompactor had completely locked down. Repairs were estimated at $60,000, which Stevens said is more than the value of the machine.
