Lamesa High School’s three barbecue teams will be selling brisket burritos as a fundraiser next Saturday, Jan. 18. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the southeast corner of the high school. Individual brisket burritos will sell for $5 each. A meal including a burrito, chips and drink will be $8. Proceeds will support The Smokin’ Tors, The Rolling Smokes, and The Pit Whisperers, barbecue teams that are part of the culinary program at the high school. ...
