The Golden Tornado basketball girls continued to have the look of a definite contender here Tuesday evening against the Big Spring Steers in their final non-district tune-up. Lamesa is now 17-8 on the year after corralling the Steers, 34-26. “This is another big win for us in terms of beating a team which beat us at their place last year in our last game before district,” Golden Tor Coach Shai Young said.
