Klondike’s high school boys basketball squad is now 9-4 on the year after escaping Whiteface with a thrilling 46-43 victory over the Antelopes.
“We had a real good third quarter tonight,” Klondike Coach Chad Myers said of the Cougars’ 10-2 third quarter run.
“Boy, we needed this one tonight. We’re only two games away from district.”
Josh Arismendez had 18 points and Gunner Shofner had 14 to lead Klondike. Sam Stevens and Ross Raines had four points each, Kylar Pepper had three, Stephen Arismendez had two and Luke Stevens had one.
