The United Supermarkets location in Lamesa is helping to host the annual Souper Bowl of Caring, with donations benefiting the West Texas Food Bank. The fundraising effort, which began this past Monday, will run through Feb. 2 at United Supermarkets, Market Street and Albertsons Market locations in Lamesa, Seminole and Midland/Odessa. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase a $10 prepackaged bag filled with non-perishable items including peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, canned corn, and dried beans.
