The Borden County Coyotes enjoyed a clean sweep in basketball action Friday afternoon at Meadow.
The Coyote girls are now 13-6 this season after holding off the Broncos, 34-30, but they had to overcome a shaky start on Friday.
After failing to score in the first quarter, the Coyotes scored 17 points in the second quarter but were down 19-17 at the half.
The Coyotes led 27-25 at the end of the third quarter after outscoring the Broncos, 10-6, in that frame. BC outscored Meadow, 7-5, in the fourth quarter.
“It took us a while to get started today,” BC Coach Lindsey Schmidt said.
