Nelda Cline Wheat

    Graveside services for Nelda Cline Wheat will be held at 12 pm, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Kalith Brown officiating. 
    There will be a family visitation on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm.
    Nelda passed away on December 24, 2019 in Tyler.
     She was born on December 6, 1939 to Elmer and Luedell Dean in Lamesa. Nelda worked for 30 years as a bookkeeper for a few different cotton gins, the last being Ten Hi Gen in Loop. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Tyler, and served in the VFW Auxiliary. 
    Nelda was a Grand Lady. She was the loving mother of two children. 
    Nelda is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Luedell Dean, and husbands, Billy Doyle Cline and Robert Herman Wheat.
    Nelda is survived by her two daughters, Renee Hawkins and husband, Mitchell, of Troup, Luanne Womack and husband, Mike, of Dawson; 8 grandchildren Shawn Hawkins, Angela Grooms, Krista Schoolcraft, Michelle Kowalsky, Michael Womack, Beau Campbell, Amber Campbell, Heather Lopez; and 12 great grandchildren.
