Directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District approved a water transport/export permit during their regular meeting Wednesday morning.
The permit, requested by Select Energy, was approved following a public hearing in which no comments were received, according to a report from the district.
Following approval of the permit, the board amended the district’s budget to add $6,299 in export fees as income.
Board members also approved a domestic well permit requested by Terry Coleman.
A positive financial audit of the district for the 2018-2019 fiscal year was received from Derek Ray with the Seminole accounting firm of Davis, Ray & Co.
