The Dawson Dragon basketball boys went 0-for-3 in last weekend’s Loop Tournament but that didn’t keep Coach Layne Sheets from seeing steps in the right direction for his hoopsters. “We’ve got some great kids out here who continue to work hard and compete hard every single game,” Sheets said. “One of the things which we like the most out of our guys is the way they keep learning how to play together as a team on both ends of the court.” The Dragons lost their final game in that tournament to Midland Classical, 65-40, on Saturday.
