Five local teenagers will be competing in the Miss Merry Christmas pageant planned here Saturday evening as part of a busy weekend of Christmas activities in Lamesa. The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. at the Lamesa Community Players theater located at 214 N. Austin Ave. Shay Allison, a 17-year-old sophomore at Lamesa High School, is sponsored by Focused Care at Lamesa. Shay is the daughter of Ray and Kimberly Allison.
