ANDREWS – Last week’s jury trial in 109th District Court that resulted in Julio Cardenas being found guilty of manslaughter didn’t conclude until after 11 p.m. Friday. The jurors deliberated long and hard—for nearly a total of six hours with the verdict and punishment—following a four-day trial that began Tuesday with jury selection.
