A zoning change needed for a proposed new apartment complex will be on the line when the Lamesa City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
It will be the second reading for the zoning ordinance which passed on a 4-1 vote last month after several residents of the area expressed opposition to having an apartment complex go up in their neighborhood.
A zoning change is being sought for a 7.52-acre tract on the southeast corner of Lamesa where Lamesa Real Estate Partners, LLC of Dallas is seeking to build a 64-unit apartment facility.
