Due to the wet weather the past few days, the City of Lamesa announced Friday it cancelled the cleanup project scheduled for this weekend in City Council District 3. Ida Rodriguez with the city’s inspection department said the city crews will work through District 3 during the coming week to pick up large items set out by residents in that district.
