The Golden Tornado volleyballers started Monday evening’s Class 4A Bi-District playoff match against the Dumas Demons with a bang. Unfortunately it didn’t last long enough. The Golden Tors won that first set in a 27-25 thriller at Plainview, rallying from a 23-17 deficit. But the Dumas Demons ended up advancing to the area round with 25-14, 25-14 and 25-9 wins in the next three sets. “Boy, we came out strong.
