Tahoka’s Dixie Dog Drive-In destroyed in night-time fire TAHOKA – Tahoka’s Dixie Dog Drive-In, an iconic drive-in at 1802 Main Street that has long been a favorite of locals, was destroyed in an early-morning fire on Oct. 11. No one was in the building at the time of the fire, which started sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. Tahoka Volunteer Fire Dept. responded to the scene to put out the blaze, but the building was completely burned inside.
