The Sands Mustangs have enjoyed their share of success this fall when it comes to running through various parks across West Texas. They continued that success this past Saturday at Lamesa’s Forrest Park. Having the fastest three girls in the race helped the Mustangs win the annual Romp Through The Park hosted by O’Donnell High School. Sophomore Landry Morrow won the meet with a time of 13:05.86 while Me-A Gonzalez was second in 13:10.89 and Bianca Plata finished third in 13:013.03. “All of our kids ran really well,” Sands Coach Wall said.
