Garza resigning as county library director

A change in leadership of the Dawson County Library is expected to occur Tuesday afternoon. The resignation of longtime library Director Debbie Garza is scheduled to be considered by members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court. Following that action, the commissioners court will consider a recommendation for appointment of a new library director. Garza told the Press-Reporter on Friday she would like to wait until after her resignation is accepted to discuss her future plans.
