An annual audit of the Dawson County Hospital District for the 2018-2019 fiscal year showed significant improvement from the previous year.
But despite that good news, the district’s board members said the hospital district continues to struggle financially – as are many other rural hospitals across the state and nation.
The annual financial audit for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, was presented by Tommy Davis, certified public accountant with the firm of Durbin & Company.
