Due to Mother Nature, the O’Donnell Eagles got an unexpected night off on Friday at O’Donnell. The Eagles were scheduled to take on Petersburg but after three lightning delays school officials decided to call the game off. “Being non-district, we’re not re-scheduling it. Every lightning strike’s another 30 minutes to wait. We could have sat out here until 11 p.m. but we didn’t think that was too fair to Petersburg as far as what time they’d get back home again tonight,” O’Donnell Athletic Director Blake Nichols said.
