Marilyn McWilliams won the third week of the Lamesa Press-Reporter’s football contest. McWilliams was the only contestant to turn in an 11-1 record this week, picking up the first-place check of $20. Jack Kelly is this week’s second place $15 winner after going 10-2 and guessing 55 points on the tie-breaker game which saw Canyon fly past Lamesa, 55-6. Alec Cates also went 10-2 but guessed 54 points on the tie-breaker to get this week’s third-place check of $10.
