Lamesa’s junior high volleyballers split their four matches Monday evening at Big Spring.
The Golden Tors lost the eighth grade A team match to the Steers, 20-25, 26-24, 10-25.
“A big part of our loss tonight was serve receive. We didn’t handle their serves very well,” Coach Liz Castro said. “Even though we were struggling, we battled the first two sets before coming out flat in the third set. We’ve just got to come out a little bit stronger and sharper in each set.”
