Lamesa’s junior high volleyball squads split their four matches against the Snyder Tigers here Thursday evening.
The Golden Tornadoes won the seventh grade A team match, 25-22, 25-20.
“Our girls did some things well tonight,” Coach Vanessa Hernandez said.
“Those first-game jitters were gone and it certainly showed. Our goal now is to keep getting better and become a better serving team.”
The Golden Tornadoes also won the seventh grade B match against Snyder, 25-15, 13-25, 25-19.
