Lamesa school board to vote on Tuesday Directors of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District are expected to adopt a tax rate and budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year during their regular meeting this coming Wednesday. That meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the district office at 212 N. Avenue G. The district is proposing a tax rate of 1.4998 cents per $100 worth of property, according to a notice in the Aug. 14 edition of the Lamesa Press-Reporter.
