Ryan Jimenez, a 2016 graduate of Lamesa High School, is graduating Cum Laude from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing on Aug. 16 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Ryan is the son of Rudy and Ester Jimenez. Ryan is a first-generation college student and is graduating with a 3.5 grade point average. During his stint at Texas Tech University he participated in Upward Bound and was a member of First Generation Transition and Mentoring.
