The following are among the many calls responded to by the Lamesa Police Department from Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Thursday, Aug. 8: Tuesday, Aug. 6 7:16 a.m. – A minor traffic accident involving a GMC Convoy and a Chrysler van was reported at the intersection of N. 4th St. and Lynn Ave. 3:16 p.m. – Two people were picked up and taken to the police department after officers responded to a report of domestic problems at a location in the 1200 block of S. 1st St. 3:28 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident wasreported in the parking lot of a business at N. 4th St.
