Lamesa City Council members on Tuesday approved requested changes to a proposed contract on a gift of city-owned land for development of a proposed apartment complex here.
Lamesa Real Estate Partners LLC, the project’s developer, had requested changes to the contract approved by the council last month, according to Sean Overeynder, the city’s executive director of economic development.
The two changes, Overeynder said, would clarify the “moderate income” guidelines that can be used for renting the apartments and would give the developer more time to get the project started.
