The City of Lamesa has filed notice that it intends to seize and sell 38 tracts of land scattered across the city on which taxes have not been paid. Each of the tracts are less than one acre in size and have been abandoned, unused or vacant for at least one year, according to a civil action filed by the city in state district court here.
