Johan Bergen

    Funeral services for Johan Bergen, age 31, of O’Donnell were held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Reinlander Mennonite Church in Seminole with Bishop Henry Reimer officiating.
    Burial followed at Reinlander Mennonite Church Seminole Cemetery. 
    All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
    Johan was born Aug. 15, 1987 in La Honda, Zacatecas, Mexico to Maria Bueckert (Suderman) and Abram Bergen Harder. He married Sara Peters in La Honda Zacatecas, Mexico on Aug. 10, 2014. 
    Johan was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church.  He worked as a farmer.
    Johan Bergen passed away July 21, 2019 in an automobile accident which also claimed the life of both his wife and a daughter. 
    In addition, he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister. 
    He is survived by three sons, Pancho Bergen, Corny Bergen, and Johnny Bergen, all of O’Donnell; his parents, Abram and Maria Bueckert of Mexico; eight brothers, Henry Bergen of Canada, Abraham Bergen of Lamesa, David Bergen of Ackerly, and Peter, Isaak, Aaron, Anton, and Cornelius Bergen, all of Mexico; and three sisters, Eva Harder and Maria Friesen, both of Canada, and Susana Bergen of Mexico.
