Both of the Lamesa Economic Development agencies will be operating with deficit budgets this coming year.
Board members of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project approved budgets for the 2019-2020 fiscal year during a joint meeting on Monday.
Executive Director Sean Overeynder said the LEDC budget projects revenue at 351,870 and spending at $529,372. That will leave about $177,500 to be pulled from the corporation’s reserve accounts.
