Tommy Doederlein is continuing to work with the area’s farmers but in a different capacity than in the past.
After spending the 27 years as an integrated pest management specialist serving Dawson and Lynn counties for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Doederlein retired from that position at the end of April.
Doederlein quickly began his new job as an agronomist at Aurora Cooperative back on the first day of May.
“A lot of it’s, with the same guys,” Doederlein said. “I spend a lot of my time out in the fields since I still get tired of sitting behind a desk.”
