Seminole man convicted in 2018 deer poaching incident SEMINOLE – An anonymous tip led to an investigation that resulted in the June 19 conviction of a Seminole man for poaching. Larry Wiebe of Seminole was found guilty of felony poaching last week after Texas Parks and Wildlife Division (TPWD) game wardens accused him of killing a mule deer without consent of the Yoakum County landowner. The incident, according to TPWD Public Information Officer Lt. Aaron Sims, took place in November 2018.
