Colleen Grimes

    Services for Colleen Jones Grimes, 73, of Lumberton, Texas, were held on June 8 in Silsbee, Texas with Eastern Star members officiating.
    Mrs. Grimes died on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
    She was born on October 4, 1945 in Lamesa, Texas. She married J.L. Grimes on July 4, 1990.
    We are blessed to have had such a beautiful, kind and generous woman in our lives. We will always have her in our hearts.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Grimes; her parents, Merrell Bassett Jones and Leland Jones; and her sister, Carol Jones Montgomery.
    Survivors include daughter, Cara Bertrand and husband, Thomas Monic, of Lumberton, Texas; son, Michael Head and wife, Tara, and children of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Judas Bertrand and, wife, Tiffani, of Beaumont, Texas; sister, Billie Jones Hamilton of Lamesa; grandchildren, Emmett, Cooper and Lana; great-grandchildren, Karissa and Dominic; and nieces and nephews, Dinah and Mark Hamilton and Bob, Ben, Lisa and Shelley Montgomery.
