A resolution in support of designating the extension of Interstate 27 from Lubbock to Laredo as a future interstate has been approved by the combined boards of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project.
That resolution was the only item on the agenda for a special, called joint board meeting that was held this past Wednesday evening.
A little over one week earlier, the LEDC/LEAP boards took no action on the request from the Ports-to-Plains Alliance at their regular meeting on June 10.
