The Borden County Historical Committee will be hosting an event this Saturday afternoon to recall the big 1976 bicentennial celebration held in Gail. Planned from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Borden County Event Center, committee Chair Lisa Dennis Mahler said, guest speakers will be Ralph Miller and Rich Anderson. “It has been 43 years since that weekend and it is time to get stories told and history recorded,” Mahler said.
