Over 70 youth from school districts in Welch, Lamesa, Klondike, O’Donnell, Loop, Brownfield, Wellman-Union and Lubbock attended the Dawson Dragon basketball camp that was held last week at the school in Welch. “It was a great opportunity for those kids to learn some fundamentals of basketball and get to practice those skills,” Dawson ISD Superintendent Layne Sheets, who presented the camp, said. “I can’t say enough for how well all of the kids did.
