City Council gives approval for canine to assist Tahoka police TAHOKA – There soon will be a new officer in the Tahoka Police Department, but it will be the four-legged variety. Tango, a German Shepherd currently being trained to detect narcotics, will partner with Reserve Lieutenant Brad Johnston, his owner, to assist with narcotics detection.
