When it came time to name a new president of the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, members of the executive committee did not have to look far. “Karen Mize is going to move from her current position there at the Chamber into Sandra’s position,” Mark Ray, chairman of the Chamber board, told the Press-Reporter this past week. Mize has been working as office manager of the Chamber for the last four years alongside current Chamber President Sandra Adams, who recently announced her plans to retire at the end of July.
