‘Bert’ Womack

    Funeral services for H.Z. “Bert” Womack, 91, of Lamesa, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Byrd and Neil Faulkner officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Seagraves Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Bert passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1928 to Frank Allen and Laura Lee (Hester) Womack in Colorado City, Texas. He was the third of seven children. 
    He served in the United States Marines from 1947 to 1952. He worked in oil field sales for over 55 years. 
    He is survived by his children, Jackie Beatty and Don Rawlings of Lamesa, Dianne Tobias of Lamesa and Terry Walser and husband, Cliff, of Granbury; sister, Sylvia McCulley of Katy; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 
    He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny Womack; three grandchildren; and five siblings. 
    The family suggests memorials to Dawson County Senior Citizens Center, 609 North Austin Avenue, Lamesa, TX 79331 and Home Hospice, 619 Grant, Ste. 120, Odessa, TX 79761.
