Science and space will be the focus of this week’s summer reading programs for youth at the Dawson County Library, according to director Debbie Garza.
On Tuesday at 2 p.m. the library staff will be doing demonstration-only science experiments for children of all ages. Children are invited to dress like “Things in Space” – anything you might see in outer space ranging from astronauts and aliens to planets and stars.
Thursday’s Babygarten program, for newborns through two-year-olds and their parents, will be presented by guest Stacy Leonard beginning at 10 a.m.
A program for youngsters ages 12-16 will be presented at 2 p.m.
