With a shortage of foster and adoption homes across the region, Child Protective Services is seeking families to help resolve that situation.
A meeting to discuss foster care and adoption is planned here next Wednesday, June 12, at 5 p.m. in the Child Protective Services office at 701 S. Bryan Ave.
“The Foster/Adoption Development Program would like to meet with interested members of the community of Lamesa to provide information and answer questions about the process of becoming licensed to foster/adopt,” said Matthew Hasty, a foster/ adoption recruiter with Child Protective Services.
