An estimated 30 people, including employees of the City of Lamesa, club members of Lamesa Municipal Golf Course and an inmate work crew with the state’s Smith Unit here, worked a little over two hours on May 16 to install 18 pallets of new grass sod on greens that are being revamped at the city-owned golf course.
