Tyler Roberts will join the Dawson County Hospital District’s board of directors when he and two incumbents are given the oath of office at the board’s regular meeting this coming week. That meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday in the community room at Medical Arts Hospital. Roberts will be taking over the Precinct 1 position that had been held by Sharalyn Ferguson, who opted not to seek re-election this spring. He will be joined in taking the oath by incumbents Mike Johnson, representing Precinct 3, and Kim Bairrington, the at-large representative on the board. They all were declared uncontested candidates for the positions,
