After a two-week delay to allow anyone interested ample time to submit a bid, the Dawson County Commissioners Court is scheduled to open bids this coming week for renovation of restrooms in the county-owned building that houses Howard College.
That meeting will start at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the County Courtroom of Dawson County Courthouse, North 1st Street and Main Avenue, in Lamesa.
Originally scheduled to open bids on May 7, the Commissioners Court took no action at that time since the project had not been advertised in the local newspaper for a full two-week period.
