If the Borden County Coyotes are to make a return trip to the state softball tournament they will have to sweep a doubleheader against Rotan this weekend. The Borden County girls saw their 10-game win streak snapped on Thursday at Abilene as a late rally helped Rotan capture a 9-8 win in the first of a three-game series in the Region I-IA finals.
