The Borden County Coyotes may have found some of that third-time charm in their regional semifinal baseball game on Friday night.
Having lost their first two games against district rival Ira earlier in the season by a combined margin of 36-8, the Coyotes needed a big turnaround to keep their season going.
That’s exactly what they got in Friday’s one-game playoff match.
Borden County managed only five hits and two runs but it was just enough for the victory as they upset the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.
