Monday evening’s Golden Tornado sports banquet will be a homecoming of sorts.     Former Golden Tornado hoop standout and later successful coach Christ Roberts will be the keynote speaker.     “I’ll be a little nervous. Anybody who knows me knows that this really isn’t my deal,” Roberts said.         “Hopefully, I’ll be able to find some things which people can relate to.”     The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. at the Lamesa High School cafeteria.     After a successful coaching career, Roberts recently started working as a supervisor at U. S. Silica, which also will be sponsoring this year’s athletic banquet.
