A free community meal in celebration of Mother’s Day will be offered this Sunday, at 6 p.m., by First United Methodist Church. Brisket and a baked potato will be served. The community meal, fun and fellowship takes place on the second Sunday of every month at the First United Methodist Church building, 409 North 3rd Street, in Lamesa. Everyone is welcome.
