The following were among the many calls responded to by the Lamesa Police Department from Tuesday, April 23, through Thursday, April 25: Tuesday, April 23 12:05 a.m. – An officer reported being out of the patrol unit in the 1000 block of North 20th Street with a suspicious vehicle/person. The officer requested another officer to the scene and advised that a taser had been used. Medical Arts Hospital EMS also was dispatched, but no transport was made by ambulance.
