Jerry Beck

    Graveside services for Jerry Beck, 80, of Lamesa, will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Dawson County Cemetery with Bo Jackson officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Jerry passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on March 12, 1939 in Lamesa to Abner and Mamie (Montgomery) Beck. He married Peggy Truitt in Lamesa in 1960. They were married 59 years. 
    He worked in the copper mines in Arizona. 
    Jerry is survived by his wife, Peggy Beck of Lamesa; children, Kaye Beck of Big Spring, Phil Beck and Kenny Beck both of Plains; sisters, Fran Allison of Oracle, Arizona and Dorothy Faulkenberry of Tucson, Arizona; numerous grandkids and great grandkids. 
    He is preceded in death by a daughter, Jerri Faye Beck; parents; and several brothers.
