Borden County High School will be sending a contingent of 10 students to Austin next month in hopes of securing the school’s second straight overall title in University Interscholastic League academic competition.
All five Class 1A schools in the Lamesa area have students advancing to the state academic meet, with Sands High School also qualifying for state in one-act play.
They are advancing from the Region 1 competition held at South Plains College this past Friday and Saturday.
